#OOTD Black Means Change

A less colourful look for a day full of love, but black doesn’t have to have a negative connotation. Let me explain.

This is a simple and sweet #OOTD that some may think is dark, especially as I hold a bouquet of black roses, but did you know that black roses symbolize something more than death?

A black rose actually symbolizes rejuvenation, rebirth and a start of a drastic change, which I found to be super fitting in this point in my life. With constant change surrounding me for the past few months, I can’t help but think of the person I have become and how much I’ve changed. So black to me means exactly this, a start of something new, rejuvenation and a sense of rebirth.

This #OOTD features my new favourite pair of Jamie jeans from TopShop with an uneven hem and my go-to chunky knit from The Gap.

This classic biker jacket from All Saints completes every outfit and adds just the right amount of edge especially when paired with my Christian Louboutin Piagalle Follies .
